Investigation is launched by one Mexican drug enforcement officer, Maguel, having in mind the implications associated with such occurrence, the explosion having taken place on the American soil, but with roots on the Mexican soil. On investigations, a possible suspect is interrogated in his house where the police chief, District Attorney and Police Captain in the presence of Maguel the drug official. During the interrogation, a shoe box is found with dynamite in it.

Maguel alleges this as a plot used by Quinlan the police captain to help the suspect escape conviction for his crimes. However much this is disputed on the grounds that he is bias on fellow Mexican. This is a plot to hinder justice from taking course. Grandi, a brother to the suspect is also investigated by Maguel prompting the removal of Susie who happens to be the victim’s daughter. The argument in this case is to escape from the unwanted attention of Grandi, the suspect’s brother. All these happen to conceal the truth from reaching the intended audience. This technique makes the film acquire more attention of the audience that really wants to know what happens next (Leaming 291). The transitions in the film occur in such a way that justice is concealed from the victims in the sense that the people instituted with the responsibility of bringing justice to the affected, appear in the outward perception to be working in order to get to the bottom of the matter, when in the actual sense the help the suspects evade conviction. Even though this happens, the audience is deceived into believing all that happens. The technological advancements have blurred the distinctive line between fiction and facts which have played greatly in affecting the course for justice.

It is however recommended that he next generation should concentrate on the effectiveness of critical thinking attributes. It is very clear that Welles’ work is very different from the other producers in the way he discusses topics in a very casual manner to reveal the sensitivities of nature and attract the unsuspecting audience.
